C-Span Firestorm: 9/11 Truth Symposium Gains Momentum

Scholars symposium to re-air again on Tuesday.

Judging by the reaction on the web to C-Span's airing of the American Scholars Symposium, the 9/11 truth movement has been afforded another jolt of momentum in its quest to bring criminal proceedings against those complicit in the attack and its subsequent cover-up.

C-Span repeated the show Sunday and set to re-air it again Tuesday at 6:10PM EST, 5:10 CST.

The show is currently archived on C-Span's website.

Webster Tarpley, one of the keynote speakers and panel members at the symposium, today calls for a concerted effort to use the C-Span broadcast to discredit phony left-right gatekeepers who have resolved to blindly accept the government's version of what happened on 9/11.

"Let us mobilize to organize the biggest audience ever by an incessant and sustained intervention in radio and television call-in talk shows, by blast emails, by direct personal contact alerts, by public signs, leaflets, and by every other means at our disposal," Tarpley wrote.

"Let us overwhelm Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, Jerry Doyle, Glenn Beck, and the other fascist parrots of the airwaves with the announcement of the Tuesday broadcast. Let us confront Ed Shultz and the other Air America gatekeepers with reality of the Tuesday show. Please do the same in the rest of the world."

Before its initial screening on Saturday evening, many were concerned that the conference was so unrelenting in its hardcore stance on 9/11, that C-Span would be pressured into canning the show. This proved not to be the case and multiple repeats of the conference within days at peak times prove the program has received very favorable ratings.

This is another hammer blow to the establishment kingpins who had hoped questions about 9/11 would evaporate as we approach the 5th anniversary of the attack.

The 9/11 Blogger website is coordinating numerous activism campaigns in alliance with the C-Span coverage, including encouraging UN members to view the broadcast, targeting left and right radio and TV gatekeepers, and also a flyer campaign.

We implore everyone to get onboard with these campaigns and help spread 9/11 truth to the four corners of the world via the exemplary platform of the American Scholars Symposium.

Sibel Edmonds, a 32-year-old Turkish-American, was hired as a translator by the FBI shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 because of her knowledge of Middle Eastern languages. She was fired less than a year later in March 2002 for reporting shoddy work and security breaches to her supervisors that could have prevented those attacks.

Edmonds appeared as a guest on the Alex Jones Show to give an update on her organization's progress and indicated that the preponderance of evidence, plus the outright cover-up surrounding 9/11 - suggests that criminal elements at the very apex of the US military-industrial complex had a direct hand in carrying out the attack.

Are Enron Bankers/Witnesses Being Murdered?

With the latest revelation that a body discovered in North-east London is that of a banker intimately connected with the Enron fraud case, one has to begin to ask why are there so many "unexplained" deaths linked to this case?

The BBC is reporting that London Police are treating the death of Neil Coulbeck, who worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland until 2004, as "unexplained".

Coulbeck had been interviewed by the FBI as a potential witness. The fraud case centres on a NatWest transaction under which it sold off part of its Enron unit.

Three other Natwest bankers wanted by the US for involvement in the fraud are facing extradition from the UK under laws designed for cases of terrorism that were passed after 9/11.

Is this becoming a case of too many "unexplained deaths" spoil a good cover up?

in 2002 Enron vice chairman J. Clifford Baxter was found shot to death in his Mercedes Benz in the early hours of Friday morning, January 25, near his home in Sugar Land. The death was officially reported as a suicide, yet Local Justice of the Peace Jim Richard initially declared that Baxter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound but then reversed himself, citing the intense public interest in the death.

There were many suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, including the moving of evidence and tampering with the body prior to the immediate investigation at the scene.

The experts found several things highly unusual. First the peculiar ammunition: not regular bullets but something called "rat-shot".

Rat shot is a type of ammunition that cannot be easily traced back to the weapon that fired it. It is used specifically for firing at snakes or small pests and is not found readily.

Furthermore, according to the New York Times, an unnamed associate added that Baxter “was talking about perhaps needing a bodyguard" just days before his "suicide".

The case remained open for months after the death.

Why would a very successful businessman one day be talking about needing someone to guard his life and then the next day decide to end it?

Enron Vice President Sherron Watkins, who warned top company officials that the energy trading giant might “implode in a wave of accounting scandals,” said she feared for her own life during the crisis that culminated in Enron’s filing for bankruptcy.

Then of course there is the timely death by heart attack of Enron Founder Ken Lay earlier this month. Lay was facing a lengthy jail sentence for conspiracy and fraud. His death has erupted a firestorm of rumours. Even the Miami Herald is questioning whether Lay has faked his own death.

Some have intimated that Lay's death, whether it be natural, faked or terminated, will ensure that his convictions be erased, leaving his family fortunes and assets untainted and untouchable.


Other Enron executives and witnesses involved in the case have gone on record as saying they are "scared to death" of being intimately caught up in the case.

So, both Loose Change 2nd Edition and the September 11th, 2006 extra have been removed from Google Video. Strangely, the foreign versions are all intact.

Loose Change has been one of the most watched video's on Google for awhile now and now they pull it off. Well, someone got paid or threatened.

Scholars for 9/11 Truth under Attack

Member's children threatened by name, teacher's position under assault.

The author of an article about the attack on the World Trade Center has found himself under attack for having published it in a new on-line publication, Journal of 9/11 Studies.

Entitled "The Flying Elephant", the article discusses evidence that a third airplane was captured on video at the time of the WTC attack. He has now received a thinly-veiled threat against his children, who are cited by name, suggesting it would be a good idea if his article were to simply "go away".

Scholars for 9/11 Truth is a non-partisan society of experts and scholars committed to exposing falsehoods and revealing truths about the events of 9/11. The journal, which is archived at journalof911studies.com, is its latest attempt to create forums for discussion and debate about these important issues beyond its web site, which is archived at st911.org. The author, Reynolds Dixon, a writer and Professor of English, former lecturer and Fellow at Stanford University, has withdrawn from the society.

CIA closes unit for capturing Bin Laden

The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) closed the unit charged with catching Osama bin Laden and his senior deputies, The New York Times reported on Tuesday.

Established in 1996 and known as "Alec Station," the unit was dismantled at the end of 2005 and its employees reassigned in the CIA Counter-terrorist Center; however, its dissolution was publicly announced only recently.
